Assistance was also provided with the adherence of the contractor to the Occupational Health and Safety regulations of 2014, including assistance with the appointment of an agent who to act on behalf of the Municipality, as well as ensuring that the contractor has submitted a site specific OH&S plan for the project.

The technical details of the work required under this appointment included new 11kV underground cables, miniature substations, overhead low voltage networks, underground consumer connections and internal wiring of the low cost houses complete with pre-payment meters.  Streetlighting was also provided.

Assistance was also provided with the adherence of the contractor to the Occupational Health and Safety regulations of 2014, including assistance with the appointment of an agent who to act on behalf of the Municipality, as well as ensuring that the contractor has submitted a site specific OH&S plan for the project.

The technical details of the work required under this appointment included replacement of 11kV and low voltage networks with new underground cables, 11kV and low voltage, new miniature substations and kiosks, as well as new and/or upgraded streetlighting.
